Keichousaurus of absolute top quality. And perfect leg structure. Professionally prepared.
Like all sauropterygia, Keichousaurus was adapted to life in the water. Specimens of this genus were between 15 and 30 cm long, and had both a long neck and a long tail, and extended feet with five toes. The pointed head and sharp teeth indicate that these animals hunted fish. Like all dinosaurs Keichousaurus belonged to the family of reptiles. Due to the heavy bone structure scholars believe that these reptiles were about to make the evolutionary step from sea to land. These reptiles were killed as a result of a volcanic eruption about 250 million years ago. When the volcanic ash dried up, cracks were formed. These cracks were filled up with water that formed the calcite veins in the rock that you can see.
