This watch has been taken apart, and cleaned/serviced completely by a watchmaker with good reputation. Please find some pictures attached about this process.
The case is a so called hunter case, both sides of the watch is silver, the dial is covered with solid silver (925) and is Hallmarked CJT with London Hallmarks, which date the watch to 1887, as shown in the photographs.
The movement and the dial and the case as well are marked '4502'.
All the lids are closing good, and the watch is running great, and keeps time well. All parts are original. If you push the crown, the front lid is opening, please note it does not jump out strongly, but the opening mechanism works well.
The case is in very good condition, no big dent is visible.
Crystal has only very small scratches, and overall it is in very good condition.
The original bluish hands look great on the clean original dial, which has no hairlines, or chips.
The movement is marked 'Army & Navy Co-operative Society Ltd', and 'N 4502, 117 Victoria Str London'. The watchmaker, who serviced it said, the watch has a high grade English movement, believed to be used in the military field.
It has diamond endstone, gold sharp teeth lever, and the Maltese cross.
The winding-setting part is ver rare and interesting, very 'English', The pin-set method for hunter cased watches is very rarely used.
Diameter is 50mm, the weight is 117g.
