Free print, not laminated, in very good condition, perfectly preserved black shades and contrast, very good cleanliness without foxing, high level of details, a little fold in the top of the sky on the right without damaging the image.
Some light areas in the negative, at the bottom left-hand corner.
Captioned and signed at the bottom, notes in the negative.
J. Pascal Sebah (1872-1947) was a Turkish photographer located in Constantinople, associated with Polycarp Joailler (1848-1904) for a while. Their work is characteristic of the commercial studios from 1880 to 1900. Their work was widely sold to travellers and can be found in most of the albums that were made during that time. They offer high quality views of Turkey and Egypt.
