Pascal Sebah (1823-1886) was a French photographer of Syrian origin who settled in Constantinople (Turkey) to open a photographic studio in 1857, before opening a second one in Cairo in the 1870s. His son, Jean Pascal Sebah, took up photography by partnering with French photographer, Polycarpe Joaillier, in particular.
