This plaster statue shows Saint Roch of Montpellier (Saint Roch; Roch de Montpellier; San Rocco; Roque), a pilgrim and plague sufferer from the 14th century, who is considered as one of the six pestilence saints.
Saint Roch is the patron saint of the city of Aarschot and the municipality of Huldenberg in Flanders.
The statue is approximately 46 centimetres high and in excellent condition, the details are good and the colours clear. Here and there some impact spots. Please see pictures for more information.
