Electric wiring is in good working condition.
The mildly frosted shade has all the characteristics typical of art nouveau.
The decorative shade is positioned in the support which is brass fitted with an antique brass and porcelain socket. The socket has a bajonet fitting. The bajonet light bulb is included in this lot.
There are a few minor chips at the top ( in the edge of the shade ) where the shade is positioned in the brass support.
The lamp is in a good working condition, France, 1900-1910.
Note that the same lamp is present at the house of Claude Monet in Giverny: in the bedroom of Monet’s stepdaughter, Blanche Hoschedé. Two pictures of this bedroom in Giverny are at the end of the set of pictures of this lot ( just to give an impression).
