This is a very remarkable lot because it consists of 5 miniature items of the first models issued by Norev, so they are more than 60 years old. Indeed, these miniatures are obviously the original models and not reissues.
The 1/43 scale miniatures are as follows (the numbers correspond to the Norev numbering):
- No. 8: PEUGEOT 203 - model of 1954 - colour: mouse grey [miniature published by Norev in 1955]
- No. 9: PEUGEOT 403 - model of 1955 - couleur : grey [miniature published by Norev in 1955]
- No. 10: CITROËN DS 19 - 1956 model - colour: grey, light blue top [miniature published by Norev in 1956]
- No. 11: RENAULT Frégate Admiral - model of 1956 - colour: pale blue [miniature published by Norev in 1956]
- No. 14: FORD Vedette 54 "Ambulance" - model of 1954 - colour: red [miniature published by Norev in 1957]
As shown in the following pictures, all of these miniatures are in very good condition, especially considering their age, i.e. more than 60 years.
Apart from that, some bluish reflections that can appear in the photos betray simply the colour of the smartphone used to take the pictures.
In more detail:
N°8: PEUGEOT 203: As shown in the photos, this model is in very good condition with the exception of the antenna of which only the base remains. Its original box is in good condition except for one end with signs of wear and it lacks 2 flaps. Unfortunately, the inscription "N° 8" (see photo 26) seems to have been added by pen on the one of the flaps by the first owner of the model). The other end is complete but the main flap only holds a few mm (see photo 28).
No. 9: PEUGEOT 403: As shown in the photos, this model is in very good condition and still has its antenna. Its original box is complete and in very good condition even if, unfortunately, the first owner of the model wrote "No. 9" with a pen on one of the flaps (see photo 47).
No. 10: CITROËN DS 19: As shown in the photos, this model is in good condition with the exception of the antenna that is totally absent and the top which curiously has 3 small spots of silver paint on the original light blue colour (see photos 60 and 62). ). It is not impossible that this miniature has undergone additions of silver paint (see the mount), unless the finishes was from Norev. I still have doubts about this. Its original box is in good condition except for one end that lacks a flap and where one of the other two is partially detached (damaged fold- see photo 68).
No. 11: RENAULT Frégate Amiral: As shown in the photos, this model is in very good condition and still has its antenna (which may have a tendency to detach). The box is missing.
No. 14: FORD Vedette "Ambulance": As evidenced by the photos, this model is in very good condition and complete (including antenna and ambulance accessories) despite the slightly-twister left front wheel (see photo 99). The original box is in excellent condition, incredibly well preserved despite its 60 years of existence (1957). Note, however, the presence of a small sticker of the period ("Grand rallye Norev") placed on one of the ends and whose 2 corners are partially torn off (see second-to-last photo (photo 107)).
In conclusion: Norev "vintage" lot of the 50s with original boxes (except for one model) in very good condition for miniatures that are more than 60 years old,
