A very old fusee pocket watch of very high quality.
The watch comes from the city of Chester and was produced in the year 1836! (Date letter S)
The white enamel dial features black Roman numerals and is immaculate except for a single hairline crack.
With gold hour and minute hands.
Different from its congeners are the hands of this specimen, which are adjustable through the movement to prevent damaging of the dial and hands.
The sterling silver case is finely detailed. No deep scratches or dents.
The movement is of very high quality.
Also with a special dust lid that jumps open when a pin is pushed.

The movement is beautifully clean and runs well.
