Cornelius Bastiaan (Cees) Muller attended the Academy of fine Arts in Rotterdam.
During his career, Muller taught himself different techniques.
In Paris he experimented with colours and combinations of styles, which would eventually result in the mature style we find today in Muller's paintings, perhaps best described as realistic impressionism.
Muller is highly praised by art critics for his particular specific character and unique style.
A topic that we do not see often from Muller: a duck family.
The work is nice subdued in terms of colour
Nice quality, it can be framed however you see fit.
This painter is mentioned in the Pieter Scheen, lexicon of Dutch fine artists 1750-1950, page 83
