Very large, detailed decorated vase with ears, made in 1898 at Rozenburg pottery in the Hague.
The vase is 35 cm in height and has an approx. 34 cm diameter. In the catalogue of Rozenburg known by model number 428. Brands: the famous Stork, the Crown (the inaugural year of Queen Wilhelmina) and the diamond of the chef Schilderszaal, D.P.J. de Ruiter.
Beautiful jugendstil/art nouveau decoration: rolling lines and flowers cover the entire vase.
Condition: on the edge 1 minute chip, at the foot a few small chips (see last 2 photos). Overall in good condition. A few production errors (not good settled paint or glaze). Apparently back then it was a hassle getting such a large product completely error free in/out of the oven.
Because of the weight is shipment abroad more expensive than normal.
It will of course be very carefully packaged and shipped via registered and insured mail. Pick-up after appointment is of course also possible.
