Bourbon ring in 14 kt gold and antique cut diamonds weighing 2.90 ct.
Sicily, mid 1800s
Precious and antique 14 kt gold ring from Sicily, from the mid-19th century Bourbon period, entirely covered with large-sized, antique cut diamonds of 1 cm weighing approx. 0.50 ct, and 8 diamonds weighing approx. 0.25-30 ct each.
The stones are very bright and give this piece a surprisingly precious effect, both because the diamonds cover the entire surface and because of their large size.
The dome measures approx. 2 cm; and the diamonds are openly set using gold with a surrounding cupel of just 1 mm. Not to mention it possesses all the charm of antique jewellery from the 1800s.
Ring size 14, ring diameter 18.5 cm, weight 5.4 g
