A beautiful very well-kept table centrepiece from Vienna, country Austria by the silversmith Alexander Sturm.

Sturm was born on the 6th of May, 1851 in Vienna, he presumably studies silver smithery with Moritz Felbert. From the year 1869, is a testimony from the workshop, Felberts an Sturm. Later, the young silver worker might have come to Thomas Dub, a renowned, resident in the silver smithery in the Zieglergasse. In January 1882, Sturm received the trade licence as a silverware manufacturer. He married the daughter of Thomas Dub and names his silverware business, which he opened in Burggasse 85 in 1883, Alexander Sturm, Dub´s Eidam
