Sculptor, born in Orciano, Pesaro, on the 17th November 1930. He dedicates himself to various artistic activities, like his brother; in Florence he is part of the Numero group; he moved to Milan in 1951, he mainly deals with jewellery. He collaborates with the magazines Il Gesto and L'esperienza moderna, he is among the organizers of the exhibitions of the Continuità group. As part of his space-nuclear research, he creates objects that are often polychrome, made of different materials in convoluted and rough agglomerates, graffiti and engraved by a tangle of signs, which he abandons for a choice of articulated but calm monumental structures in the compositional lines (series Fluidità contrapposte, 1958; Superfici in tensione, 1958; Le folle, 1963; I Radiali, 1964; I Quadrati, 1966; I Contatti, 1968; serie degli Archi e del Sole produttore - comune raccolto, started in 1972). The memorial of Gramsci to Ales (1976) highlights the search for a new relationship between the demands of artistic spatiality and those of a human political dimension, inserted in the urban context. His is also a project for the Urbino cemetery.
The work will be supplied with a certificate of authenticity and origin issued by the gallery M&D Arte.
