Harry Löwenstein (* January 27, 1880 in Fulda; † April 15, 1966 in Hamburg) was a German writer, painter, graphic artist and art critic.
Löwenstein was in contact with artists such as Hans Leip, Carl Albert Lange, Bruno Karberg and Hans Harbeck. As an art critic he wrote for the Hamburger Anzeiger for several decades and headed the youth supplement.
During the time of National Socialism he was considered a "Halbjude" (half-jew), but continued to write critically. In 1935 he wrote a tribute to Max Liebermann. When Löwenstein was expelled from the Reichsschrifttumskammer in April 1936, he was banned from a profession.

After 1945 Harry Löwenstein received numerous awards.
