A student of the futurist artist Tullio Crali, she studied art and architecture in Venice with Mario Deluigi and Carlo Scarpa. She frequented the artistic circles and met important exponents of culture and art, including Emilio Vedova and Luigi Nono. In the Sixties she moved to Milan, then New York, New Jersey and Rome in 1970. Her first visual works date back to the 1950s. In 1979 she began her research on the intercommunication between music and image and the one between body languages. She creates graphic transpositions of sound figures. Sign, voice and gestures are intertwined to form a unique visual-dynamic-sound work that she calls ‘Opus Intercodex’. Many exhibitions and presentations in Italy and abroad, including the XXI Biennial of Sao Paulo in Brazil (1991 and 1994) and the XLVI Venice Biennale (1995). In 2005, she set an exhibition at the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome on the occasion of presentation of the Inter codices monograph, with live performances. She held seminars at Universities in USA and Brazil
