Giò Mondelli, was born in Milan in 1953.
A versatile artist, he is a draftsman, graphic artist and portraitist.
After attending the Free Academy of Fine Arts (LABA), Giò Mondelli dedicated himself to the study of Symbolists and Surrealists.
His pictorial research has focused on experimenting with new techniques, styles and trends.
Symbolism and Surrealism are the basis of the works of Giò Mondelli and have earned him numerous awards from critics, allowing him to exhibit all over the world: from Italy to the United States, passing through Belgium, Germany, France and the United States.
Art critics recognize Giò Mondelli as a singular interpretation of the landscape.
This work can be traced back to his minimalist vein, made with the use of polystyrene and other poor materials, such as thread and coloured cardboard
