Herman Brood was not able to paint much in the last year of his life. As a result, he thought of a number of 'escape routes', including having his examples painted in Thailand. Another 'escape route' was his collaboration with the American Jim Bowes, who worked in Amsterdam at Kinko's. Together, they made designs on the computer for, e.g., blow-ups.
This blow-up comes from a series of approx. 12 pieces. Depicted are Herman Brood himself, his family, and his idols. In this case his great example Little Richard.
Last photo is the invitation to Little Richard for participation in the CD. 50 the Soundtrack. Please note, this is not a part of this lot.
The blowup has a few bubbles, mid-top, right-top, and right-bottom. No damage.
