Muller Frères - 1930 Art Deco chandelier Hängelampe

MULLER FRERES
A wonderful French art deco pendant in nickel plated bronze or solid brass. The high quality richly detailed fixture holds a ball shaped shade by the famous Muller glass company signed Muller fres Luneville representing peacocks. These Muller Peacock globes exist in two sizes. A small one with a diameter of 14 cm and a large one of 24cm in diameter. The one on this pendant is the larger one of 24 cm. The pendant has a drop of 52 cm. The inside of the canopy is numbered and marked BEV. In fact it's a mark I find rather often on chandelier mountings but I was never able to find out anything about the lighting producer behind these initials.
The pendant is in excellent condition. I have replated the mounting and patinated the new nickel layer which now beautifully shows the fine details of the fixture. The lamp comes newly wired. It holds a E27 socket so you can use our normal light bulbs for it. For European countries I will add a LED bulb. For the US or Japan I will place an American standard socket.
