From the ruins of an abbey chapel destroyed during WW I. This original brass lamp is drum-shaped; a cross hangs from the tip. Around the middle the lamp has openwork with ongoing subtle symbols. The top edge is also openwork with ongoing motifs and crosses. The lamp is equipped with three fixed vertical handles, to which three 30-cm long chains are attached. These chains come together in a round heat shield. The lamp holds a removable red glass cup for burning a candle, tealight or oil. The total length is approx. 40 cm, at a maximum diameter of approx. 10 cm. Is in reasonably good condition with traces of fire and use as may be expected.
Will be carefully packaged and shipped with track & trace.
