This Genf watch company existed from around 1800 - to circa 1830. It was a partnership between David Amalric and Jean Louis Amalric. The company is probably known as Jean-Louis & David Amalric
Very interesting verge watch with three-part silver casing.
63 mm in diameter. Height 25 mm - weight 137 g
Unusual collector's watch.
1 silver top casing. In good condition. Raised bumps on the front and back side - everything there. Only the opening button is missing.
2 silver top casings with hammer-strike circles.
3 watch cases silver smooth finish. On the bottom is a crack (soldered fro inside).
Fine dial in good condition. No serious damage. Signed Amalric Feres a Geneve. Original gold-coloured hands. Both with incorporated decorations.
Wind at the back.
Unlocking mechanism to access the movement on the dial at 6 o'clock. Closes securely.
Very delicate and playful movement. Silver decorative ring and round silver floral verge cocks, middle stone. Silver disc for speed adjustment. Gold arrow. Movement signature Almaric a Geneve Nr. 18538
