A lovely antique Chinese porcelain Imari plate with a central decoration of peonies on pierced rock in a strong underglaze blue with overgrazed red and gold. In the border a classical decoration of geometrical patterns, blossom panels and sprays of peonies. Handcrafted in ancient China during the Qing dynasty, Kangxi or Yongzheng period (ca. 1725).
Diameter: 22,9 centimeter
Condition: This object is in overall good, a H-shaped crack in the center, small flake and flee bites without any restorations. The condition is carefully checked with strong UV-light and bright translucent white light.
