Pocket watch with date indicated by a richly decorated window with its double silver case
Debeaufre was one of the French watchmakers who had to flee to London during religious events.

This watch has been restored by our Atelier d'Horlogerie d'Art. It is in working order, it remains a fragile and collectible object of more than 300 years. The accuracy of the time remains uncertain, the date change is made approximately between 11 pm and 2 am
A gap of 7 mm by 3 mm can be seen on the protection box
On the back is the scene of Mary and Joseph fleeing to Egypt with the child Jesus.
The movement is richly decorated, in particular the cartridge dial with its carved centre, the coq where one can see a running dog and the pillars decorated with carvings.
