Brunello di Montalcino is the fruit of a harvest held at the Tenuta Greppo in the Biondi-Santi winery, in the heart of Montalcino. The Brunello del Greppo di Biondi Santi is a prestigious and famous wine all over the world and owes these awards to its longevity and characteristics that reflect the tradition and history of the Biondi Santi family and of the Greppo productions. A great 100/100 wine.
The harvest begins traditionally on September 17th, with a dry and cold course. The 100% Sangiovese Grosso grapes that make it up are healthy, ripe, with a large, rich-colored skin, vines between the ages of 10 and 25, which give a must particularly rich in sugars. The vinification takes place at a controlled temperature, with racking after 15 days, after which it is aged for 36 months in Slavonian oak barrels.
