Ordinary Chondrite type meteorite weighing 2,600 g from Morocco.
Size: 10 x 10 x 20 cm.
It is showing a few regmaglyptes (with finger prints shapes) which are characteristic of meteorites, as well as the fusion lines.
This chondrite shows a very fresh fusion crust so characteristic for meteorites.
The chondrites are a type of meteorite (stony) made up of Chondrules (small spheres of silicates) and grains of iron/nickel.
Through polishing this type of meteorite, you can observe the small spheres (the chondrules) stuck one to another.
By observing this structure people became to know the basic formation of asteroids and planets.
