Jingasa, sombrero de samurai - Laca, Madera, Paja - Japón - siglo XIX

I offer up a very nice jingasa hat with a sandpaper like surface wich is quite rare.

Made of black lacqered wood and then covered with some small stones to give it a sandpaper like effect. In overall good conditions, some signs of wear on the headpad and few scratches on the edges as pictures show.

Diensions are around 39x6cm.

The jingasa (lit. "camp hat") was a type of hat worn by Japanese warriors when traveling or encamped.
