Luc Claus was a draughtsman and graphic artist who usually worked on paper. With smooth and moving lines he created anthropomorphic figures. They are archetypes: not the human head in itself was important, but the head as form; almost as an object and no longer a subject.
Often Luc Claus is often associated to Dan Van Severen. They knew each other since their study time in Sint-Lucas, and later they also taught together at the Normal School in Bruges.
