C-print on photographic paper, made in 1998 by the artist Pio Tarantini. The print was framed between two plexiglass slabs at a professional laboratory.
The print is signed.
Pio Tarantini (1950) is a photographer from Salento.
His work has been exhibited from 1982 in private galleries and public offices in Italy and abroad, and about them were written essays and articles by many of the greatest Italian art critics and journalists.
Among his favourite themes, memory, the precariousness of the representation of reality, the use of situations, places and things full of symbolic values occupy a prominent place. His photographs suggest deep reflections about time and about how reality is perceived by each of us.
