Okimono - Madera, Marfil - Geisha - Japón - Periodo Meiji (1868 -1912)

A Japanese Ivory and Wood Okimono of a dancing Geisha, Early Meiji period.
Very detailed carving, the wood has a natural reddish colour.
Her hair sophisticated tight up with a single flower pin.
Underside of the kimono depicting her two bare feet.

Condition: overall good with expected age patina, a small chip on a finger of the right hand and an attribute missing in the same hand.
Under one foot there is a hairline.
A certificate of authenticity will be send to the buyer.
