Artillery stopwatch from Excelcior Park Switzerland.
This type of Stopwatches were used in the first and Second World War for the calibration of grenades.
It has an enamel dial with triple range in different colours for the different calibres.
They have a special compartment for spare parts, in the early versions of WW2 for the K.u.K
(Kaiser- und Königliche) Armee from the First World War, it was written in Czech, the later versions had it in German and English, very rare: the spare parts are there!!
On the bridge is the calibre 3364, and further the letters DRP (Deutsches Reichs Patent) and US Patent.
This timepiece is described in Konrad-Knirim's book "150-Jahre-Deutsche-Militär-Uhren"
Diameter: 58MM. Without crown.
The clockwork is in perfect condition and works very well.
It does not have damage, the enamel dial is undamaged, without its cracks, repairs or whatever.
A rare and beautifully preserved military timepiece.
