These Bactrian bronze pins and spoon were collected in the 1970's during an extended stay in the East, Balkh Province is situated in the northern part of Afghanistan, bordering Turkmenistan in the north-west, bordering Uzbekistan in the north. The Bactria-Margiana Archaeological Complex or "Oxus civilization"is the modern archaeological designation for a Bronze Age culture of Central Asia.
These items all show corrosion from centuries under ground, but are structurally sound.
The items were purchased in the East in the 1970's during a prolonged stay in the country.
