925 Plata, salmón coral - Collar Bauhaus

Descripción
925 Plata, salmón coral - Collar Bauhaus
Tamaño: 42,0 cm - Peso total: 7.9 g

Exceptional historical Bauhaus collier made of silver 925 (marked and guaranteed) The imaginative collier consists of cone elements with fine rods between coral elements. The corals are of very beautiful salmon-coloured clay and captivate by their excellently preserved surface shine. They alternate between the top and bottom of the links. The chain is closed with a large spring ring. An absolutely typical Bauhaus collier with a geometric shape.

The Colliers from around 1930 are popular design objects of singular value. Their modern classical design beautifully demonstrates the influence that the Bauhaus, founded by Walter Gropius in 1919, had on the liberal and applied arts. Although the Bauhaus had to be closed in 1933, it still shapes modernist trends today and is often used as a synonym for classical modernism in design and architecture.
