Paul Huf (1924-2002), portrait of a man with hat, sticker on the backside: ‘Photo and Copyright Paul Huf’.
For many years he was the figurehead of Dutch photography. He made staged studio pictures, glamour portraits, advertising campaigns and glossy fashion photography. In the 1950s, Huf became famous for his portraits of Queen Juliana and Prince Bernhard. The photos in the long-running “Vakmanschap is Meesterschap” advertising campaign of beer brand Grolsch were also made by him.
