Biography: Gio Schiano was born in Naples on the 4th May 1976. After completing his technical studies, he dedicated himself to design and photography, without leaving out his great passion for art. In 2009 he founded the group Moga, where he edits limited edition artworks by world-renowned artists and designers. In his present artworks, there is a contamination by Memphis Milano’s philosophy, by the great master Ettore Sottsass, Andrea Branzi, Natalie du Pasquier, Alessandro Mendini, Michael Graves, by the geometry of Bridget Riley, Victor Vasarely, Yaakov Agam, as well as by the audacity of Mimmo Rotella, Mario Schifano, without omitting the decadent and melancholy sign of Janez Bernik. His artworks are exhibited in France, United States, Australia, England, Japan and Italy. Currently, he devotes himself to the creation of artworks made of ceramic, plexiglass, wood and collage on canvases that attract collectors from all over the world.
