Rien van den BRINK, born on 17 February 1923 in Oosterhout Noord-Brabant where he lives and up to his 18th.
When Rien is 52 years old, he makes 52 works titled 'Three-quarters', because he thinks his life is at three quarters of what it will be. An etching from this series is chosen by NRC Handelsblad as a print for his readers, in a circulation of 150 in 1984. Publication of the book 'Tekens van Leven' by his son, Prof. Dr. Gabri_l J.M. van den Brink, 1998. Rien van den Brink dies at 75 years of age. Small retrospective of his work, for which there is exceptionally great interest, 2005. Publication of the book ‘Gezien de mens’. Exhibition in the Hoge Hees, 2008. Exhibition in the Soeterbeek, conference centre of the Radboud University Nijmegen.
