We are selling these four glazed terracotta cups. They are quite old (circa 1840) and have been used for 7 generations.
Their enamel is worn here and there (handles and rims), but still present and shiny throughout, which is quite rare considering their age.
No cracks in any of the cups.
Remarkable balance in their shape and patina.
Save a special place in your home for them.
Note that a single similar cup (from the same time period and series) is on dis at the Annecy museum in France.
Marnaz pottery, owned for over two centuries by the Guyot family. One of the last Haute-Savoie traditional pottery makers. It closed down in March 2010.
The cups will, of course, be shipped with great care. They will be insured and a signature required upon delivery.
