Willy Ceysens (1929-2007) was a Belgian sculptor and ornamental artist. He was educated as a jeweller, and his father an art painter and jeweller of mainly ecclesiastical art: chalices, candlesticks, tabernacles, and crosses, but also jewellery: rings, cords, but also abstract, almost mythical metal figurines. For him, simplicity is "the conscious that seeks the soul and the meaning of our lives." "An image is a visual expression with a communicating concept without interference in a qualitative performance," he summarises his art. Source: Wikipedia.
