Location: Geraardsbergen, Fangio refers to the name of the son of the legendary cyclist Guido Reybrouck (born in Bruges on 25 December 1941).
He had some nice victories during his career as a pro including Paris-Tours, Kuurne-Brussel-Kuurne and the Amstel Gold Race.
He was a professional cyclist from 1964 to 1973.
He became Belgian champion on the road in 1966.
Guido was a fan of Formula 1 driver 'Juan Manuel FANGIO', who won 5 world titles between 1951 and 1957, he named his son after him.
After an active cycling career he became team manager from various professional teams and founded his own cycling shop in Aartrijke. 'Fietsen Fangio' is currently operated by son Fangio and is a distributor of the famous Museeuw bikes.
