He has earned his stripes in the design world in which he has worked on special packaging designs for Autodrop, Douwe Egberts, La Paz, Heineken Bolletje, Lidl, etc.
A few years ago he sold his shares in BRUM design. Since then he lives in a national monument where he has a beautiful historical studio.
After years of experimenting in Willem, Willem finally found his inspiration and doubled down on arts. Artist Willem van Roozendaal is inspired by Andy Warhol, David Lachapelle and his canvases have an emotional connection with the work of and Marc Chagall.
In addition, there are influences from travel, including through South America, India, Spain and Morocco. He combines the mystical and the everyday. He calls himself a Graphic DJ. The paintings consist of several mixed layers of images. Through contemporary compositions, the artist makes a remix of the visible so that the invisible talks with us, inspires, touches and makes us emotional.
