Authentic official Vatican relic of the veil of Veronica "sweat cloth" of the original exhibited in the Vatican in the Basilica Saint Peter and would contain a small part of textile of the real veil. The Saint Veronica from Jerusalem struck Jesus Christ along the Via Dolorosa on the road to Golgotha. The relic is an old copy on linen made in 1867 under the supervision of Pope Pius IX and handwritten signed by the Pont Max XXI Francisqus Pevennetti.
