Reloj regulador antiguo - Madera - Primera mitad del siglo XX

Descripción
Reloj regulador antiguo - Madera - Primera mitad del siglo XX
Mecánico - Movimiento de 8 día - Media hora, un gong.

A special clock from Freiburg (Prussia) by Gustav Becker Werke.

Why this clock is so special?
First of all, the clocks by Gustav Becker are known for their quality. Moreover, this model with rounded top is very rare.

The clock presumably dates from the 1854–1870 period. Gustav Becker Werke was producing clocks until the early 20th century. Later, the factory was acquired by the famous Junghans Uhrwerke.

The clock shows obvious signs of age in the wood. Also see the photos. The original colour layer on the wood is clearly in worn condition and sanding and varnishing it would bring back its pristine appearance, although the worn spots also have their charm, of course. Also a few small cracks in the wood, but no missing pieces of wood or parts. The original key will also be included. The photos provide a clear impression of the clock.

The clock gives a deep, heavy gong strike every half and full hour. The clock could do with a cleaning service.

Will be shipped in protective packaging, with track and trace.
