Trilobite - En matriz - Erbenochile erbeni

Trilobite of very high quality from Alnif Morocco. His name is Erbenochile or big eyes. VERY RARE new discovery. The most diagnostic features are these cylindrical eyes, each paved with about 560 lenses. These unique eyes allowed the animal to see in all directions at once without turning the head. The fossil is about 30 mm wide and the eye is about 10 mm high. Excellent preparation work on this trilobite. (spectacular) It has a dark brown patina. This unique specimen is suitable for a museum or private collection
