Prussian helmet, also known as “lobster-tailed helmet”.
Original with no restorations. There are still some parts of original green colour (see details in the photos). Black calfskin interior with all its parts. Brass scale chinstrap in perfect condition, it still has the inner fabric lining (see photos). The helmet has no holes or corrosion. The front plate is made of solid brass and is complete of all its parts. The entire structure is very solid.
It weights approx. 1.2 kg.
In case of display to the public, it could benefit from an anti-oxidant cleaning.
