Description

Bronze top of a tattoo stylus depicting most probably Thagyamin the highest-ranking nat in traditional Burmese Buddhist belief. Considered king of the second heaven above Catumaharcika, he is derived from the Buddhist deva Śakra and the Hindu deity Indra

SIZE OF UPPER PZRT IS 16,5 cm

!!! IMPORTANT !!!

This stylus is composed of three parts, the upper part representing the character is ancient. See the picture.
The lower parts are seldom found. They were regularly changed because of their frequent use. It is therefore of importance to notice that both the shaft and punch are quite recent. (+/- end of 20th century)
