Moto Guzzi 8-cylinder GP 500 (1955-1957): Giuseppe Colnago, who came from the 4- cylinder Gilera 500, was perfectly at ease with the Mandello del Lario motorcycle, and he won in Syracuse in March 1957. This is the first (of two) victories that the 8-cylinder Guzzi will achieve.
