The watercolour is in good condition. It is probably from 1964, see the 4th picture. The frame is still original and in less good condition. Similar work auctioned at Christies for 1500,- incl. auction costs.
Van Dulmen Krumpelman followed lessons with A. Allebé and was influenced by G.H. Breitner and W. Witsen. He lived and worked in Amsterdam and after1917 in the province of Drenthe from which he worked in Groningen a lot. Van Dulmen Krumpelman came in contact with De Ploeg and became a member of the Groningen society in 1925. His topics are often city views, nudes, landscapes and farmers in Drenthe. He was a member of several societies and his work is owned by the Rijksmuseum Amsterdam and Fries Museum Leeuwarden.
