This is a stainless steel vintage 1930's Doxa Regulator Chronograph. It has a leather strap with a stainless steel tang buckle, and an acrylic crystal. There is a snap on solid case back engraved with a serial number, and the Doxa Logo and name inside. The chronograph pushbuttons are oval-shaped, and the 33mm diameter solid three-body case, downturned lugs and faceted angled bezel are polished/brushed. The dial is military black with gilt numbers and letters, and it's anti-magnetic. There is a time dial at 12 o'clock with luminous white Breguet-style hands, and there is a 30-minute elapsed time subsidiary dial at 6 o'clock. It has a 60-second outer track with Arabic numerals every five seconds, and an inner tachymeter scale to 400 UPH. The 10.3mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed.
The Venus caliber 140 doctor's chronograph movement in this Doxa Regulator Chronograph was introduced in the late 1920's, the first chronograph produced in the Venus Factory.
