An EXTREMELY rare Air Force Medal of Honour is offered!

The Medal of Honour is the highest U.S. military award and is only awarded by the US President, as he is also commander-in-chief of the U.S. armed forces. Since its introduction in 1862, the award has been awarded only 3498 times. 


The award is delivered on the original neck ribbon and in original box of issue. The so-called "ribbon bar" is also present.
The medal is bronze plated with green enamel and measures 52.7 mm (wide) x 75.5 mm (height) including the wings, lightning bolts and VALOR suspension.

The back is marked "HLP", which stands for production by "His Lordship Products". In 1973, this company changed its name to "Lordship Industries" which thus indicates production before this year.
