Magnetic Ball Eye Lamp by the master, Gofredo Reggiani, in an alluring 1960s purple colour. The lamp consists of two parts: a nice cylindrical base and a sphere that fits onto the bottom part and which is kept in place by a magnet. This way, the bulb can be placed in different positions so that the light beam can be aimed at the desired direction. The magnet is strong; once the sphere has been placed, it will not budge on its own. Not even while moving the lamp by grabbing it at the (convex) top. The lamp was originally meant to function as a wall light. To fulfil this function, the necessary threaded holes were added to the holder. Condition: In working condition, minor damage to the plastic casing surrounding the magnet. Otherwise in good condition! Comes without a light bulb. Original switch and original plug (not grounded). There are also traces of early rust formations on the exterior and there is damage to the paint on the white edge, on the transition from the outside to the inside.
