Daedalic griego Terracota Jefe, ex Galería Cahn
Greek, Late Daedalic, 570-550 BC

Archaic head of a woman in Late Daedalic style. The hair falls behind the big ears and shows the typical horizontal waves.
The triangular face with protruding eyes, outlined eyelids, a prominent nose and a small mouth.
The hair with traces of red pigment. Mold-made with flat back. Broken below the chin.
