Broad redware dish rim fragment depicting a very fine and detailed Olive tree or a bush with berries. The relief decoration was taken from a separate mold and applied to the almost flat rim.
The fragment belongs to the rim of a large dish with a calculated diameter of ca. 39 cm. A groove runs along the outer edge.
Size: L. 7.4 cm, H. 5.1 cm
Culture: Roman, North Africa, 250-300 AD
Condition: Superb modeling. Minor flakes out of the relief decoration.
